A Bit About Me
Hi! My name is Alexa Torgerson, and I am a third-year interior design student at the CIDA-accredited Vancouver Island University. I grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and I am particularly interested in how interior environments influence comfort, behaviour, and overall well-being. I approach each project with curiosity and intention, focusing on creating spaces that are both functional and welcoming for the people who use them. My work is guided by a balance of creativity and practicality, with an emphasis on durability, sustainability, and inclusive design strategies.
In my spare time, I love being outdoors and exploring nature whenever I can. Whether it’s hiking local trails, discovering new places, or traveling somewhere I’ve never been before, I’m always drawn to experiences that let me see and appreciate the world around me. All of the images shared on my site were taken by me, capturing moments from the places I’ve explored.
